MX2034 4-20 mA Proximity Transmitter Metrix MX2034 is configurable for radial vibration, axial position or speed measurements. It combines the performance of a fully API 670-compliant eddy-current proximity measurement system with the flexibility of digital configurability. For the first time, users can configure their transmitter system in the field using a custom field-generated curve as well as factory pre-configured calibrations for over 20 target materials, a variety of probe tip diameters, manufacturers, extension cable lengths, and linear ranges. With the release of the vibration monitoring Digital Proximity System DPS 1.35 and its associated software, MX2034 is even more powerful and flexible for user applications. With a single transmitter, users can switch probe type, change system length, alter target material at will in field. MX2034 is capable of eliminating the cross-talk between two adjacently installed proximity probes, the dynamic output signal measured at the BNC can be configured for positive or negative polarity depending upon the application, and transient electrical spikes can be suppressed in the system. With the 4-pin connector, users of the MX2034 can send the dynamic signal output to a vibration monitoring system up to 100ft away. Metrix MX8030 Proximity Probes Metrix NEW MX8030 Proximity Probes are agency certified for hazardous areas (ATEX/CE, CSA, IECEx). They come standard with VibeLock™ Connectors and Triaxial Cables. The proximity probes can be used in refineries, petrochemical plants, natural gas transmission, natural gas processing, power generation plants or any oil & gas application. MX8030 proximity probe series consist of 5mm and 8mm tip diameter probes and are available with all standard thread sizes and body configurations required in the API 670 Standard. Both probes offer a full 80 mil (2mm) range, and are designed to offer full API 670-compliant performance characteristics when used with a matching MX8031 extension cable and MX2033 driver. Metrix MX8031 Extension Cables Metrix MX8031 Extension Cables are agency certified for hazardous areas (ATEX/CE, CSA, IECEx) and come standard with VibeLock™ Connectors and Triaxial Cables. They can be used in refineries, petrochemical plants, air separation plants, natural gas transmission, natural gas processing, or any oil & gas application, and power generation plants including nuclear. Metrix* MX8031 extension cables are available with and without protective armor and are compatible with all Metrix MX8030 series 8mm probe systems, and Bently Nevada** (BN) 3300 / 3300XL 5mm & 8mm probe systems. All MX8031 extension cables are part of the 10000 series part number designation for agency approvals. The 10000 series P/N will appear on the product’s label along with the MX8031 p/n. e.g. MX8031-AAA-BB-CC = 10200-AAA-BB-CC.
Metrix Tightview Proximity System The TightView™ System uses the MX8030 5mm and 8mm probe tip series, MX8031 extension cables for both 5m and 9m systems featuring VibeLock™ Connectors and Triaxial Cables. These models are available with standard thread sizes and body configurations required by the API 670 Standard. The TightView™ System offers a full 80 mil (3.15mm) range with 0.5” (12mm) and a 0.375” (9mm) counter bores. They are designed to offer full API 670-compliant performance characteristics when used with a matching MX8031 extension cable and MX2033 driver or MX2034 transmitter.
Metrix MX2030 Probe Series Metrix MX2030 probes offers a full 80 mil (2mm) range, available in 5mm and 8mm, and are designed to offer full API 670-compliant performance characteristics when used with a matching MX2031 extension cable and MX2033 driver. MX2030 probes are fully interchangeable with Bently Nevada** 3300 and 3300 XL 5mm/8mm probes. All proximity probes/transducers have third party approvals, comply with API 670 specifications, and feature ProxMatch™* component coding and are ATEX approved. Metrix 5580 Smart Signal Conditioner The Metrix 5580 is a new generation DIN rail mounted Smart Vibration Signal Conditioner from Metrix. It has been designed to accept signals from machine casing mounted velocity sensors, accelerometers or shaft observing proximity probe systems and produce a 4-20 mA output proportional to the measured variable. It provides the user with a configurable signal input type for two independent channels plus a configurable feature to scale output either to peak or RMS units.
