Varec offers several different mechanical level gauges and liquid level indicators for a wide variety of applications.  The Varec 2500 is a float & tape instrument designed to provide continuous liquid level measurement in bulk storage applications. This simple and reliable instrument has been used for managing inventory in the oil and gas industry for the past 90 years.  Tech-Quip has extensive stock of the Varec 2500's and spare parts.  The 2500 is used for low presuure tanks below 2.5 PSI.

2920 FLOAT & TAPE TRANSMITTER

The 2920 Float & Tape Transmitter (FTT) provides data from the tank side to the control room for use in inventory management applications. It accurately converts mechanical level measurement from the connected tank gauge, integrates temperature and HART devices, and provides digital inputs and digital outputs for the indication of alarms or drive relays.

RADAR TANK GAUGEs

The NMR84 Radar Tank Gauge (RTG), with an accuracy rate of ±0.5 mm and ideally suited for stilling well applications in custody transfers, is used for high accuracy, continuous, non-contact level measurement in bulk liquid storage tanks.

8500 SPOT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Calculate accurate inventory volumes by integrating temperature measurement into your tank gauging system. Product temperature is used for volumetric calculation to a reference temperature and is of significant importance in the accurate calculation of liquid inventories in bulk storage tanks.  The 8500 Spot Temperature Sensor (STS) connects to the Varec float and tape transmitters, servo tank gauge or tankside monitor to provide spot temperature measurement for use in accurate inventory volume calculations.

PROTHERMO NMT532 AVERAGE TEMPERATURE CONVERTER

The Prothermo NMT532 average temperature converter and sensor is an intrinsically safe, multi element (Pt100) resistance device designed to measure the average product temperature in bulk liquid storage tanks.
